Rip-It-Ups are probably best described as a Traditional Rock & Roll
Band – with lots of Blues – Rockabilly – Country Jazz & Soul.
Fronted by dynamic vocalist Jodi Birchall, the band features any or all
of the below players at any given time – always a real Rock & Roll
Extravaganza! And quite a party for everybody, Young or Old, as the band
can play everything from ballads, originals, country AND western to
great jazz, blues & rock – always with a lot of energy!
The band is made up of old friends who
finally got around to Playing Together – all at the same time!
Featured along with Jodi Birchall are Recording artist & amazing trumpet
and Singer/ Songwriter Kami Lyle, Legendary Bassist & Singer/ Songwriter
Joey Spampinato who, along with his brother Johnny Spampinato, are
members of the World-Renowned Rock & Roll band, NRBQ. Paul Dinsmore
& Gary Locke played with the Bluesdusters for many years in the Cape Cod
area. Tad Price, on guitar, has played with many varied musicians
including Sarah Burrill. Liam Hogg, our awesome, fun loving drummer, has
also played on the Cape for many years with bands like Earth Junior and
Sarah Swain. |
